How Much Does Kratom Cost? 2026 Kratom Price Guide

Kratom powder costs about $0.10 to $0.20 per gram, or roughly $3 to $6 an ounce, depending on bag size. At Super Speciosa, that’s $19.99 for 100 g up to $499 for 5 kg. Capsules start at $16 for 60, gummies at $69.99 for 30, and extract shots at $9.99 to $13.99 a bottle. Per serving, kratom runs from about $0.22 to $7.00.

Those are our real, current prices, not an industry estimate. If you already know what you want, you can buy kratom in every format below directly from our site. If you’re comparing options, the tables below break down cost per gram, per serving and per milligram of mitragynine, which is the number that tells you what you’re paying for.

Key takeaways:

  • Powder is the cheapest format: $0.48 per serving in a 100 g bag, down to $0.22 on the autoship kilo.
  • Capsules cost $0.60 to $1.33 per serving, and tablets $0.36 to $0.96.
  • Gummies ($1.87 to $2.33) and shots ($4.20 to $7.00) cost more per serving and per milligram.
  • A 30-serving supply of powder costs about $6.50 to $14.40.
  • Higher-grade leaf can cost less per milligram of mitragynine than cheaper-looking bags.

The real cost: price per 100 mg of mitragynine

Price per gram only tells half the story. Mitragynine is kratom’s main alkaloid (here’s what mitragynine is), and bags vary widely in how much of it they contain. A Chicago-area study found mitragynine levels from 3.9 to 62.1 mg per gram across kratom products on store shelves. So a cheap bag can be expensive once you account for what’s in it.

Here’s our 1 kg powder math, using each grade’s guaranteed minimum:

Signature Reserve costs $15 more per kilo, yet it’s the cheapest one-time option per milligram. That’s the case for grading every batch by mitragynine and printing it on the label. Our most potent kratom guide ranks the full lineup, and every bag carries a QR code to its batch lab results (here’s how our batch lookup works).

How much does a month’s supply of kratom cost?

It depends on how often you take it, so here’s the cost of 30 servings in each format, at label serving sizes. This is a price comparison, not a suggestion to use kratom every day.

Serving creep changes this math more than any price tag. If you find yourself needing more over time, our guide to kratom tolerance explains why and what to do about it.

What affects the price of kratom?

  • Bag size. Larger bags drop the price per gram by 20% to 50%.
  • Format. Capsules, tablets, gummies and shots add processing, packaging and labor.
  • Grade. Higher mitragynine grades cost a little more per bag but can cost less per milligram.
  • Testing and manufacturing. Batch testing for alkaloids, heavy metals and microbes costs money. It matters: an FDA and CDC investigation linked a 2018 Salmonella outbreak to kratom, and FDA testing of 30 products found concerning levels of lead and nickel.
  • Where you buy. Unlabeled products at a gas station or smoke shop often cost more per serving and rarely list mitragynine. Our take on buying kratom on Amazon explains why that’s not a shortcut either.
  • Supply. Most US kratom comes from Indonesia, where an estimated 112,000 people grow and process kratom in West Kalimantan alone, so export rules and shipping costs flow through to shelf prices. We track changes like Indonesia’s new kratom export regulations.

Is kratom expensive?

Not in powder form. A serving of our powder costs less than 50 cents at every bag size, and as little as 22 cents on autoship. Convenience formats are where the price climbs: a gummy runs roughly four to seven times the cost of a powder serving, and a shot roughly 10 to 20 times.

The expensive mistake is paying for kratom with no lab report. You can’t tell whether a bargain bag holds 1% mitragynine or a fraction of that. Our guide to cheap kratom vs good value covers what to watch for, and our checklist for vetting a kratom vendor lists what to ask for.

How to spend less on kratom

  1. Try strains in a sampler first. Our Powder Flight includes five 20 g pouches for $19.
  2. Move to a bigger bag once you know what you like, sized to what you’ll use within two years.
  3. Subscribe. Autoship takes 20% off most products, and deeper on the kilo and 1,000-capsule deals.
  4. Compare price per 100 mg of mitragynine, not price per bag.
  5. Check our kratom deals page for bundles, like the five-strain Powder Strain Variety Bundle.
  6. Weigh servings with a kitchen scale. Teaspoons vary more than you’d think; our grams per teaspoon guide shows by how much.

We also accept ACH/eCheck payments and cryptocurrency, and our shipping guide covers carrier options.

Kratom price FAQ

How much is a gram of kratom?

At Super Speciosa, a gram of kratom powder costs $0.20 in a 100 g bag, $0.16 in a 250 g bag, $0.14 in a 1 kg bag and about $0.10 in a 5 kg bag. The 1 kg bag on autoship brings it to $0.09 per gram.

How much is an ounce of kratom?

An ounce (28 g) of our kratom powder costs about $5.67 at the 100 g size and $3.97 at the 1 kg size. Online price guides often quote $8 to $15 an ounce, so compare per-ounce prices across vendors along with mitragynine content.

How much is a kilo of kratom?

A 1 kg bag of our core-strain powder is $139.99 one-time or $89.99 on autoship. Signature Reserve, graded at 1.5% mitragynine or higher, is $154.99 per kilo. A kilo holds about 416 servings at our 2.4 g label serving.

How much does a month of kratom cost?

At our label serving sizes, 30 servings cost about $6.50 to $14.40 in powder, $18 to $40 in capsules, about $70 in gummies and about $210 in single-bottle shots. Your real cost depends on how often you take kratom and your serving size.

Why do kratom capsules cost more than powder?

Capsules contain the same leaf plus a gelatin shell, filling and bottling. At our 1,000-count size, that works out to $0.24 per gram of kratom versus $0.14 per gram for a 1 kg bag of powder.

Does Super Speciosa offer discounts?

Yes. Subscribing to autoship saves 20% on most products, and our kilo, 1,000-capsule and tablet kilo deals go further on autoship. Bundles and samplers are listed on our kratom deals page.
