Straight Talk: What Changed in Our Kratom Shots and Tincture
STRAIGHT TALK: WHAT CHANGED IN OUR KRATOM SHOTS AND TINCTURE
Howdy folks, Randy here.
If you've picked up a Chill Vibes, a Slingshot, or a Watermelon Tincture lately, you might have taken one sip and thought, "Huh. That's different."
You're right. It is. And you deserve to hear why straight from us instead of piecing it together from a new label.
What changed
For years, the base of our liquids was propylene glycol, or PG. It's a synthetic ingredient that a lot of liquid supplements use to hold everything together.
We took it out. In its place, we now use vegetable glycerin, or VG. It's plant-derived, it does the same job of carrying the formula, and a lot of folks find it gentler on the stomach.
The switch started with our most recent restock across all three liquids. If your bottle has the new cap and updated label, you've got the new formula.

Why we did it
Since 2016, we've tried to run this place one way: do it the right way, even when it's harder.
Swapping a synthetic base for a plant-derived one fits that. It's part of a bigger push to use more naturally sourced ingredients across everything we make. Once we had the option, we weren't going to keep the old one around just because it was easier.
What you'll notice
Here's the honest rundown:
-
It's sweeter. Vegetable glycerin is naturally sweet, so the flavor reads sweeter than the old formula.
-
It's thicker. VG has more body than PG, so the mouthfeel is heavier.
-
The ingredient list is updated. You'll see vegetable glycerin on the label where propylene glycol used to be.
-
Your serving size is the same. The change was to the liquid base. The potency and mitragynine levels have not changed.
-
The testing is the same. Every bottle still carries a QR code that pulls up the third-party lab report for that exact batch, so you can check the numbers yourself.
What's next
We've heard you on the taste. A shot should go down easy, and we know the new one runs sweeter and thicker than you're used to.
Your feedback is going straight to our production and quality team, and our R&D folks are already on the next batch. They're dialing back the sweetness and bringing the texture back toward the drinkability you know. We're keeping the plant-based base. We're fine-tuning the taste.
We'll let you know when the improved batch hits the shelf. And like everything we make, it's covered by our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Questions? Our CS team's here.
Alright, that's the whole story. Break's over, and there's a pallet of boxes with my name on it. Thanks for sticking with us, and thanks for telling us the truth. It's how we get better.
Y'all take care, Randy
