The other day, I was helping my son with his Earth Day project for school, and it got me thinking about how we can all work together to help preserve our planet. After all, that’s where our beloved kratom comes from, as well as so many other wonderful natural products.
Did you know that kratom is one of the most sustainable crops in the world? It requires minimal water, fertilizers, and pesticides, making it a choice that’s gentle on the environment. Plus, its long roots help conserve soil and prevent erosion. That’s right – taking kratom is like giving the planet a big ol’ hug!
But despite the abundance of kratom in Indonesia, the country’s rainforests are under threat. Deforestation rates in Indonesia are the highest in the world, thanks to industries like palm oil. So how can we help conserve rainforests?
One way is to urge corporations and industries to adopt sustainable practices. Another is to donate to a rainforest conservation organization. And of course, we can all do our part by educating others on sustainability and the benefits of kratom to the environment.
Here are a few things I’ve been incorporating into my daily routine to help the planet:
- Picking up trash when I take my dog out for a walk
- Organizing community cleanups with my buddies from the warehouse
- Composting my leftover scraps from cooking dinner
- Using reusable bags at the grocery store
- Buying from my local farmers market
- Sending my kiddo to school and baseball practice with reusable water bottles and food containers
